Palm Beach County New Construction

Given the natural beauty of Palm Beach County, its lovely year-round weather and its dozens of golf courses, it should come as no surprise to learn that new homes are being built in the county and the surrounding areas, some of which include Jupiter, Abacoa, Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, and Singer Island.

Despite the fact that many planned communities still have available offerings, many luxury builders are still moving forward with new construction projects. So, why move forward with building new homes when homes are still available in the area? Simple. Given the location of the property along the Intracoastal Waterway and the close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and beaches, it is considered to be a prime location with limited availability. Therefore, while builder confidence is low on a national level, Palm Beach County is one of those areas where developers still see hope for the future.

Despite promising markets such as the homes in Palm Beach County, 2009 and 2010 were the worst two years in history in terms of builders breaking ground on new construction projects. Yet, in Palm Beach County, home starts increased from 941 in 2009 to 1,110 in 2010. While this is still significantly less than the peak time in 2003, when there were 10,000 starts, Palm Beach County has still manage to fare much better than most of the country. Furthermore, experts predict things will only continue to move in an upward direction for Palm Beach County.

In short, anyone who is interested in purchasing a newly constructed home in Palm Beach County is sure to find something available. Not only are there homes still available within the many master planned communities the area has to offer, but new developments are being created on a very regular basis.
